We have been running a WISP for about 5 years now. We have done everything from 900Mhz to 5.8Ghz. I can probably answer your questions.

Im in a rural area ( customers can not even get dsl. Some customers still have party lines out here ) im looking to assess the cost of deploying a wireless solution. Ive looked at several products and several look great on paper. I would like to try to get a “field use report” for alverion, proxim, and motorola canopy systems. Input from anyone who had experience deploying / administering / supporting these systems would be appreciated.
