I am looking for fresh ideas for filtering out Yahoo Groups. We are an ISP and our users are heavy into Yahoo groups. Unfortunately it seams most yahoo groups get caught in the spam filters. Example X-IMAIL-SPAM-URL-DBL: us.a1.yimg.com
This is a problem that hits everybody with "mass market" discussion lists.
rootsweb admin people are another group who don't seem to have much clue considering they run such a big operation.
You pretty much have to whitelist the IPs that send the yahoo groups outbound before the msgs are passed through the RBL checks. ie, acccept the yahoo groups traffic unfiltered, bypassing any RBL or other checks. Not a pretty solution, but having yahoo groups members get unsubbed and then come hassle you repeeatedly about it is much worse.
