Hi, Would there a optimum setting for the SMTP Queue Timer in Imail Though it depends on how often we want the SMTP server checks the outbound queue for queued mail, is there a recommended minimum or a maximum that it should be ideally be set to?
We have found that frequently the recipient receives email after couple of hours the email has been sent to Imail, though could be a number of possible reasons, would this 30 min time interval be one of the factors? Would it be ok if we put it to say 10 mins? What would be the implications for this less time interval other than the server checking outbound queue more frequently? Any help/advice gratefully accepted.
