I just wanted to post a followup to the issue we had posted about here concerning web messaging utilizing 100% of CPU; (Thanks to all who posted suggestions!)
1. we upgraded to the KWM 4.2 templates as suggested by a post here; still had same problems.... 2. we tried changing the web file directory from our C: system drive to another drive; still had same problems.... I finally broke down and called IPSwitch - the tech support rep suggested that we clear out the spool/web folder that had accumulated over 8000 .tmp files over the past year....we did this 2 days ago, and (knock-on-wood) it looks like it may have cured the problem. It is still too early for me to be 100% assured that this has completely resolved the issue, but it has been a dramatic improvement over the 6-7 times a day web messaging was locking up prior (only one lock up in 2 days so far - and that one instance was within 30 minutes of the file deletions)... Just wanted to make sure I shared this suggestion from IPSwitch support...
