We are inserting X-IMAIL-SPAM into headers for all spam messages. Outlook rules wizard looks at header information so we allow the rule to direct SPAM to local inbox marked SPAM. Outlook Express does messaging rule do not include looking at header information.
How does one develop a rule to handle the X-IMAIL-SPAM in the header record for Outlook Express? We had them up the timeout to 2 minutes and it fixes the problem. One customer called Microsoft for help and was told a security upgrade caused the pop3 process to slow considerably and it would be addressed in a future update.
