I downloaded and tested the program locally with very good results... Hopefully it will work just as good for our customer - I don't see any reason why it won't.

I have a database > contact program that I still run on an old Win98 machine, because it > won't run on anything newer. The machine is off network from my SMTP > server and the program doesn't do SMTP Auth. I just run the SMTPAuth > program, set the smtp server in the program to 127.0.0.1 and away we go! The author is **VERY** responsive also. I started showing it to customers at version 7.x. Then I had an ISP client outsource his mail and the company he outsourced to used port 2525 for customer SMTP. Turns out that the SMTPAuth setup would only allow 3 digits in the PORT fields. I figured out where to correct the port number in the registry but that was a little beyond most normal users. I emailed the author and 2 days later I had a custom compiled EXE to replace the current version that allowed 4 digit PORT numbers. -- Gerald V.
