Recently I've seen an increase in undeliverable emails being sent from the company I work for. I'm having users complain that they are receiving "unknown user" errors for people they send email to all the time.
Unfortunately, IMail doesn't report why the E-mail bounced. It just says "Unknown User", which doesn't let you know why the bounce occurred. This is something that Ipswitch is going to have to change soon -- while 5 years ago, 99% of bounces were real bounces (typically "no such user"), now I'd guess about 1/2 are "We don't want your mail" bounces.
We have a free "BounceFinder" tool (at http://www.declude.com/tools ) that you can use to see why these E-mails are bouncing.
