I just wanted to know if those of you with a really deep technical knowledge had any problems with this type of set up or if there are pitfalls to such an arrangement.
I'm not familiar with SimpleDNS, but unless it is poorly designed, there should be no problems.
The two main problems with running other programs on the IMail server are if both programs fight for resources (such as IIS or SQL), or if there are security issues (often the second program is added without much thought as to security issues). But DNS and IMail usually play quite well together on the same box.
