We started with BlackIce. Good product. Sometimes if you forget to configure s.th. (e.g. a port or so) we ran into the situation that you had to reboot the whole engine 'cause basic restarting didn't free the port.
And also If you are running more than 5-10 servers it can be a hustle configuring each box. So we switched to a basic central Linux firewall. And it is a bit cheaper, although BlackIce is running on top of the firewall still since it is running more as a webshield in our case now.
