The Internet provider my organization uses as its link for a VPN actually shut down ICMP altogether due to it. Managed to flood their network so bad it made things seem like the 14.4kbps days... This was about 2 weeks back, any time they turn it back on the same thing happens. Probably due to all the lusers who never patch their PC's or spend $50 on a virus scanner.
But yea, I've seen it too. All of a sudden starting early last week all of my firewalls (40 locations) are showing massive amounts of traffic (double what it was when Blaster first came out) to ports 135 and 445. They are all being blocked but I'm just curious if anyone else is seeing this.
