I’ve seen a couple of posts in
the mail archive about this subject, but I haven’t seen a resolution to
it yet. I am running Imail Express 8.04 on a
Windows 2003 server. When I attempt to use DNS Blacklists I get the following
error. BLACKLIST: failed to connect to
service (SpamCop:*.bl.spamcop.net) This error is returned 99 times out
of a hundred, with it only successfully contacting the service 1 time out of
the 100. I have changed the
“Server” input from “*” to my local DNS server, to my
ISP’s DNS server, but still have the same result. If I do a nslookup
2.0.0.127.bl.spamcop.net from a DOS prompt on the hosting machine it returns
the proper response of 127.0.0.2.
So I know my DNS is functioning properly. Has anyone found a fix for this
problem? Thanks, Paul Ellison Network Admin 3-D Solutions Inc. |
