Any idea why NAV would do an RSET after the HELO 250??? I checked many other conversation logs and it always does an RSET after the HELO 250.
That's very unusual. That is not normal behavior (although it is technically valid).

In this case, I would say that the sendmail server is at fault, as it should accept the RSET command.
