Our system receives
an automated email from the government notifying us that our files have either
been received or ready for pickup. Unfortunately IMail Anti-Virus seems to think
this message contains a virus, when in fact it does not. I was told that
possibly the message has a malformed header and that is what Imail AV detects as
a virus, but I have no way of correcting that, the government will not modify
the autoemailer to correct this.
Is there anyway to
simply tell AV to trust all email from this sender? I have disabled AV in the
meantime, but would like to get it up and running again. We are not that
vulnerable because I have setup rules to redirect all known virus type file
attachments to a special account for validation, so in theory no viruses should
make it past the rules but I would like to have AV running as another layer of
protection.
