I just called him. It was something that his system would do when it
got something that it considered spam, and in this case, it was
probably tripping on the subject line due to people filtering for virus
detection notifications. He said that he would fix it. Generally speaking, you should not be bouncing anything considered to be spam because about 15% of spam forges the sender, and you will end up ruining people's accounts with bounce messages that have been Joe-Jobbed. It is showing up on my end each time and has a "Save Money On Your Website" eml attachment. I checked another account I have at an ISP I work with where I also receive messages from this list and it doesn't show up there. Only shows up in the account that is on my own mail server. I see it after every message I send to the list and the subject is formatted exactly as if it were a reply to my message except that is has [Possible Spam] in the subject just before the [IMail Forum]. It is being received from martek.net. Only happens with messages I send to the list. Been sending messages to other people all day long and don't see it with these messages. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Maggard" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2004 16:38 Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Possible SpamI don't see that, maybe its just you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeffery Rehm" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2004 2:17 PM Subject: [IMail Forum] Possible Spam -- ===================================================== MailPure custom filters for Declude JunkMail Pro. http://www.mailpure.com/software/ ===================================================== |
