Well, not sure that a firewall will help as I will still allow traffic to the mail server. Most of the connections only try to deliver to a few address before moving on.

We have been getting huge ammounts of invalid user errors for the last few months. Primarily on 1 domain but I notice other domains getting hammerd as well. Is there anyway to fight this. The mail server spends so much time telling these spammers that these names are not valid that my daily logs (without debug) are 30 +mb's in size and it also makes it hard to follow a normal thread in the log.
 
The ip address that they are comming from are continualy changing.
