I wonder why iMail is incorrectly reporting the nature of the bug - they are saying it is a DoS, when it's really a remote code execution exploit, two very different things. Maybe I'm missing something?
Probably for the same reason that otherwise respected anti-spam companies use "SPAM" instead of "spam", and "RBL" instead of "DNSBL". The marketing people don't know the correct terms to use, but *think* that they do. Or, they may think that people will be more likely to patch if they see the term DoS.
