Does anyone know if Symantec has a fix so all ZIP files do not have to be blocked?

Are you referring to NAVIEG (their mail gateway product)? I believe someone posted here that they already have a version that blocks encrypted .ZIP files, similar to the way that Declude Virus does. That way, you can let all normal .ZIP files through (if people have a legitimate need to send encrypted .ZIP files, they can rename them).
