This is on a Windows 2000 server. It's gotta be something minor cause it was working fine. Is your DNS hosted on a Windows 2003 server? Only reason I ask is I had some terrible issues with DNS and Server 2003. I had the same issues and when I switched to the Windows 2000 server and it worked great.
