Most likely either [1] you are using AV software incorrectly on your
server 
(an on-access scanner scanning .smd/.mbx files, which can cause blank 
E-mails and/or loss of legitimate E-mail), or [2] you're seeing some
common 
E-mails being sent from broken spamware, which has just a single 
Message-ID: header.
