Any update on Ipswitch being able to post the server response codes (550 - user does
not exist, etc.) in the bounce message?

Our email lists are rather large and we need to automate bounce handling to keep up
with address changes, deleted addresses, etc... The problem we have is Imail 8.0X
displays different messages for the same bounce reason depending on the domain. For
example an email to an unknown user @yahoo.com will
return a bounce message with undeliverable to [EMAIL PROTECTED] while an email to an
unknow user @hotmail.com will return a bounce message with
Unknown user: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We have started using the BoogiePOP Email Bounce Product which works real well. It
goes through the bounced email and generates a log file listing
each email address and the bounce reason which we can update our database with. The
problem is since imail doesn't pass on the server response codes
we are unable to rid some domains like yahoo.com of unknown users (expired accounts).

I'm not sure that BounceFinder would be helpful as our SMTP file log is somewhere
around 50-100mb per day.

Any update/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Adam
