Well, I upgraded our 8.05HF2 servers to 8.10 yesterday afternoon and everything seems to be running fine. Although we are not using LDAP or IMAP on any of the servers I elected to allow the installer to update those services even though I would not be turning them on. Must say that the server with the most domains on it certainly took a while to complete "some" process when the servers were rebooted. The only thing different is that Queue Manager seems to consume more of the available RAM then it used to.

Other than that I have not noticed the SMTP or Queue Manager services stopping and the CPU utilization is within normal ranges on both boxes.

I do like the ability to insert Spam alerts into the subject and I turned on the Word Normalzation. Added another domain (35 mail boxes) to the server just after upgrading so it will be interesting to watch the spam stats on that system to see if it appears to be catching more and having fewer false positives.

All-in-all I must say the upgrade was uneventful and everything is working just fine.

btw this is the second full mail upgrade on the main server as it was running IMail 7.x before this and the user base was migrated to the 7.x server from a 6.x server from another box before that.
