Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Defragging Imail Server
*Defraggin Hard Drive for IMail server*
Our experience shows that the built in defragging program on Windows 2000
will not run to completion.
The DISK KEEPER program can run the WHILE iMail is running and does run to
completion. Another great feature about Disk Keeper is that it can be
scheduled to run automatically.
Greg.
I have been trying to find a knowledge base article pertaining to defragging
my Imail Server. How often should this be done? Can I use the Defrag
utility that comes with Windows 2000? Are there any gotchas that I should
be aware of?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
