mxGuard is licensed for the IMail server it will run on (whether or not you
choose to use it as a spam/virus filter or just as a command line tool for
the pop features).

The pop retrieve feature will indeed work with whatever you have set up and
will not bypass your declude installation.

If you choose to use mxGuard as a spam/virus filter along *with* declude,
you can configure declude to process first and hand off to mxguard, or
mxguard first, handing off to declude.  Please see the bottom of the short
FAQ at our site for details regarding the interface with declude.
