You Can edit the Menu.html in the web folder, look for the <Title>.  Just switch the <!--IMAIL.CurrentMessageCount--> with the other message variable.

Which file would I have to change to switch messages and new.
Example  9/4    9 messages 4 new
Some of my customers have requested   4/9
