Yes it is in there. I have also verified that the system is actually
looking at it to by changing the ip and seeing if from the command-line
it pings the now 'wrong' address and it does.

I hate to ask the obvious questions, but do you have a line "192.0.2.25
domain.tld" in your HOSTS file, on the IMail server?
