I'm using iMail 8.05 with latest hotfixes.
I'm trying to create a new virtual host that uses an mySQL database as a backend. I created the database, as well as a user with the proper permissions to do anything it needs to to the DB. I created an ODBC datasource in windows2000 using the latest productions myODBC driver, and verified that it can connect to the DB with the username and password supplied. I downloaded the latest dp-m710-odbcuser.dll and put it in the imail directory. When I try to add a new host in iadmin, it appears to work correctly. However, when I check the database, it still is empty with no tables whatsoever. All of the iMail services are set up to logon as the "LocalSystem" account. The SysLog shows this:
05:09 21:52 ODBC(215231130) (Table: (null)) Initialize:SQLDriverConnect (Check userid and password on server.) 05:09 21:52 ODBC(215231130) (Table: (null)) Initialize:SQLDriverConnect (Check userid and password on server.) 05:09 21:52 ODBC(215231130) (Table: domain_com) IsValidTable:SQLAllocHandle-hStmt 05:09 21:52 ODBC(215231130) (Table: domain_com) CreateTable ERROR SQLAllocHandle
I've doublechecked that the userid and password on server are correct. I'm running MySQL 4.0.17-max-debug on the same server that iMail runs on.
Any help is extremely appreciated.
Regards,
Caio
