Nothing. No message coming in for delivery at all. I get lots of email and
most of it seems to be just fine, but had to clients both using another
service for SMTP at that time and neither email came through. However one of
them sent one to me from a separate account on Yahoo and it was delivered
almost immediately.

Is there something going on that I am not aware of about email messages? I
am getting some failed, delayed messages in my logs for a couple of domains
we host, one of which is my own. What causes this and what can I do about

Indeed, this is the expected setup.

Yes:  create  views  based  on the extra column and point IMail to the view
name.
