Several folks on the list were having similar problems I was with SMTPD32, I
was wondering those that were having the problem, did any of you go through
the upgrade process to 8.11? Did it resolve the issue? Below is a copy of my
original message to the list.

I've already contacted support on this and am awaiting a response. But I
wanted to get other folks feedback as well.

I'm getting errors in the Event viewer reading:

-------------------

Faulting application SMTPd32.exe, version 12.3.8.42, faulting module
iaspam.dll, version 12.4.7.37, fault address 0x0002edce.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

-------------------

I thought the problem was caused when the smtpd32.acc file was opened with
notepad the day before. Even though the file was not edited in any way, it
was opened when the service was running. I restored the smtpd32.acc file
from backup thinking that would correct the problem. But I just got another
error at 10:20 this morning. So apparently that did not correct the problem.
I noticed not long after I received the above error in Event Viewer I
received another error:

-------------------

Fault bucket 100493849.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

-------------------

The services are running and mail is flowing as it should be but I continue
to get these event viewer messages and I want it fixed. There was no Dr.
Watson error log generated so I'm flying blind for the most part.
