I asked a similar question about the removal of mailbox size and mailbox messages in 8.1 and here was Ipswitch's response.
--Dylan Dylan, Per user request, this was changed in version 8.1. Only users with System Administrator and Host Administrator rights can make this change in Web Messaging.
