That's the client right? [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm not sure what your asking, but this is what I tried to see if ivan.lim was a valid account-

telnet webmcq.com.au 25
220 web01.webmcq.com.au ESMTP Sendmail 8.12.8/8.12.8; Tue, 25 May 2004 13:00:29+1000
helo test
250 web01.webmcq.com.au Hello host-***.***.net [***.**.**.***], pleased to meet you
mail from:<>
250 2.1.0 <>... Sender ok
rcpt to:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
250 2.1.5 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Recipient ok
quit
221 2.0.0 web01.webmcq.com.au closing connection

I was able to connect to the server (I should have looked up the MX first, but I lucked out) and I got the response that the client exists.

Try doing TELNET from your IMail server.  If you don't know what the above commands do, check out the knowledge base article: http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19991021-DM01.htm for an explaniation.

Kind of a weird setup... He has 5 MX records. All of them except one point to the same machine (no multiple IP's on the "A" for the machinename) with mixed priorities (20, 21, 41, & 42). the lone other is set to MX 30. Not sure how this is going to work (probably not well) but is at least a little screwy if you ask me

Subject: [IMail Forum] Cannot send mail from one specific user account

Hello,

I new to the forums so please go easy with me....

We have a problem where one of our users cannot send mail to one of our clients.  Other users in the company can send to this person without a problem though.  Through searching the logs I can see no reason for the error either.

Here are some lines from the users mail:

Delivery failed 20 attempts: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is a multi-part message in MIME format

[message truncated]

Does any of these messages give you a clue, or is do you guys require more info????

Many thanks,
