[IMail Forum] SMTPD, POP3, IMAP errors

Hi all,   I have been getting these errors for a while in my logs, 10038, 10054, 10038.  They appear on pop3, imap, and smtpd.   Ipswitch has told me that these are always network errors and recommended I replace my Compaq DL380 G3 Gigabit NIC with a 10/100 server adapter which I did and they still appear in my logs.  These errors are in much larger quantities during business days with higher traffic.  I also have changed cable and port in Cisco 2850 switch (interface shows no errors).  Also, Firewall is fine on number of connections and shows no indication of failure in it’s logs.   I do see these on e-mails that have been delivered, and if these e-mails were not being delivered I would know.   I am also seeing lots of connection reset errors on pop3 and Imap.  I see my imap connection being reset occasionally.   Does anyone have any suggestions to look at?  I have stumped Ipswitch at this point.     smtpd errors for 6-01-04 Tuesday   151 10054 135 net read error 10038 77  net read error 10054 35  10053   SMTPD errors on 5-31-04 Monday Memorial Day   114 10054 24 net read error 10038     SMTPD errors for 5-30-04 Sunday 35 net read error 10038 30 10054 14 10053 2 net read error 10053   smtpd errors for 5-29-04 Saturday   35 net read error 10038 31 10054 8 10053 5 net read error 10053    smtpd errors for 5-28-04 Friday 457 10054 115 net read error 10038 37  10053 35  net read error 10054   smtpd errors from 5-27-04 323 10054 127 net read error 10038 65 10053 59 net read error 10054   Thanks,   Chris Patterson, CCNA Network Engineer Rapid Systems
