Hi all, I have been getting these errors for a while in my logs,
10038, 10054, 10038. They appear on
pop3, imap, and smtpd. Ipswitch has told me
that these are always network errors and recommended I replace my Compaq DL380 G3
Gigabit NIC with a 10/100 server adapter which I did and they still appear in
my logs. These errors are in much
larger quantities during business days with higher traffic. I also have changed cable and port in
Cisco 2850 switch (interface shows no errors). Also, Firewall is fine on number of
connections and shows no indication of failure in it’s logs. I do see these on e-mails that have been delivered, and if
these e-mails were not being delivered I would know. I am also seeing lots of connection reset errors on pop3 and
Imap. I
see my imap connection being reset occasionally. Does anyone have any suggestions to look at? I have stumped Ipswitch
at this point. smtpd errors for 151 10054 135 net read error 10038 77 net read
