I have the following configuration:

Dual PIII-733 MHz CPUs
768 MB RAM
2 x 9 GB SCSI - RAID 1 (System)
2 x 9 GB SCSI - RAID 1 (Spool & Log Files)
2 x 18 GB SCSI - RAID 1 (Mailboxes)

My issue with IMail is this.  After running great for days or even weeks, with no warning the
queue is no longer being processed, both SMTP and POP3 are responding so my monitoring
of the ports does little to tell me there is an issue.  Basically, since I get about 50 emails an
hour I have to watch to see if it drops off to know there is an issue.

What if anything can someone tell me about the queue processing just stopping and the msgs
just building up ?  This morning I woke up to 12,000 msgs in the queue and another 9,000 in
the overflow folder.  It is still trying to get through processing them all.

Do I have a hardware deficiency here?  We average around 45,000 msgs a day processed with
a max of 68,000 msgs in one day.   I know memory is a big factor and I have bought 1 GB of memory
for the server to replace what is in there now.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated. The processing stops have been happening about twice a
month now.

Thanks,

Jeff Reinhardt
