Then I search the logs and find that that message actually came from <BLOCKED::mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Great, so I *should* be able to add that domain (as @*.grenchille.com) to our kill file, but the question is, why doesn't that address show up in the message headers in Outlook and is there a way to get IMail to show such addresses as the From address?
The problem here is that IMail looks at the return address ("MAIL FROM" in the SMTP envelope), but you are looking at the From: header or the Sender: header or the X-Sender: header or the Reply-To: header or some other header. The MAIL FROM is the correct one to block on. If you are using Declude JunkMail, you can use the X-Declude-Sender: header for adding addresses to the IMail Kill List. Otherwise, you can check the IMail SMTP log file to find the true sender.
