What would be the best way to setup the alias to capture the email?  Currently, the confirmation email comes from [EMAIL PROTECTED].  Subscribe is a program alias for the command "D:\perl\bin\perl.exe d:\imail\subscribe1.pl".  Subscribe.pl is supposed to receive the contents of the message and parse it to imailsrv.  It doesnt appear imailsrv is ever receiving the email.

I would like to see the actual message being sent to imailsrv for the subscription process...set up an alias that can capture it...I think it might be the parsing of the return that is getting messed up..List server commands need to start within the 1st 6 lines of the body and you have to parse out the ">" or whatever reply marker is being used as well.

Subject: [IMail Forum] problems with imailsrv2.pl

We are using IMAIL server 8.05 on Windows 2000 SP4.  The last few years we have been using the imailsrv2 script to add/remove users to our mailing list.  Recently we noticed it was no longer working.  I created a test page http://www.tier1net.com/list/mailing-lists-new.html.  When a subscription request is submitted the email is received at the email address specified.  However, upon replying to the email a reply from the server is received that states:

Discussion List Message:

This message is to inform you that no changes were made to your Discussion List subscriptions. Either you did not select any discussion lists to subscribe/unsubscribe to, or an error has occurred. If an error has occurred, please contact webmaster.

I have verified that the body of the subscription verification email is in the correct format:

We have received a request from matt Chabbit to make the following additions or changes to your subscriptions:

======Please Do Not Edit Below This Line======

subscribe test matt Chabbit

If you would like to make these changes, just reply to this message without editing the text. If you did not ask for these changes, just ignore this message, and nothing will be done.

Does anyone have an idea as to what step in the process is breaking down?  Is it the imailcgi.exe, subscribe1.pl, or the imailsrv2.pl?  What could be causing the error?
