Hi,

I have IMail 8.11 trying to send an e-mail to sbcglobal.net domain and
failing. The log file shows

06:25 15:49 SMTP-(81d8056b001eaf13) Trying sbcgobal.net (0)
06:25 15:49 SMTP-(81d8056b001eaf13) [x] Connecting socket to service
<SMTP> on host <sbcgobal.net> using protocol <tcp>
06:25 15:50 SMTP-(81d8056b001eaf13) MX connect fail "64.235.246.143"

And it never goes.

Now if I check the MX records using NSLOOKUP from the server running
IMail I get

> set type=mx
> sbcglobal.net
Server: host.domain.com
Address: x.x.x.x

Non-authoritative answer:
sbcglobal.net MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = sbcmx3.prodigy.net
sbcglobal.net MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = sbcmx4.prodigy.net
sbcglobal.net MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = sbcmx1.prodigy.net
sbcglobal.net MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = sbcmx2.prodigy.net

sbcmx3.prodigy.net internet address = 207.115.57.15
sbcmx4.prodigy.net internet address = 207.115.57.16
sbcmx1.prodigy.net internet address = 207.115.63.75
sbcmx2.prodigy.net internet address = 207.115.63.85

Now on the Queue Manager tab I have disabled DNS Cache and on the SMTP
page I am using my own server as the DNS server.

So why would the SMTP log show a 64.235 address when the real answer is
207.115...?

Is there anyway to see what is in the DNS Cache?

Thanx
