Here is the format of the smtpd32.acc file, which is the binary file used for the ACL.

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] script development

No Problem,

I’m not shure if this is a polite conduct with the forum (forgive me if not).

But since there are so many people asking me to take a look at the script, I decided to post it on the forum.

Please keep in mind that the main idea is to help us all. So if there’s anyone who can contribute to make this script work even better, please share it with the list.

I was wondering if any of you guys are using a similar solution, and if possible give a hand on the following.

I’m trying to find a way to automatically make my script write the the smtp block access file and restart the smtp service (easy).

I think it’s a binary file.

Also I’m trying to find a way to keep track of the blocked ip addresses so I could automatically block it for let’s say 24 hours and

Then automatically unblock it. Just too many dynamic ip’s.

Hope it helps.

Regards.
