Rather than do that, why not just use the LastLogin utility?

Have a good one,

Subject: [IMail Forum] lastlog.in file

Since web mail log-ins don't update the lastlog.in file, I have considered writing an
application that, at the end of each day,
would read the W1 file for successful logins and, if it is more recent than the user's
file info, update the time stamp.

We are a single domain, don't use IMAP. My questions: does anyone see any particular
faults in the logic and what other programs
use the lastlog.in file?

Thanks,
John
