Hi, I'm currently on 8.05 and thinking about our transition to 8.12 and am concerned about the LDAP updates. I think with the new LDAP, we have to specify the root or searchbase.
I'm also wondering about what else is changed with LDAP. Finally, I'm a bit concerned about our somewhat obscure client we use (QuickMail Pro) and it's ability to work correctly with the new version of LDAP. So, here's my first plea: If someone has LDAP setup on IMail and would allow me to use the LDAP piece from my client to setup and test my client I would really appreciate it. That way I'll know what I need to change for our install. A private reply would be great... 2nd: If there are folks actively using the LDAP piece, can you let me know if you had any issues moving to 8.12 with your LDAP. We use it exensively here for name, school, department, lookups and our folks rely on it heavily.
