Yes, you need to stop at least queue manager and probably smtp (?) services to delete the TMP files. Or you may want to copy the files to another dir first (so you can open them in notepad and see what they are before deleting them??)

How do I delete those? Do I have to shut down that domain mail in order to remove those or shutdown mail server entirely? I can an error "Cannot delete XXXX.tmp file - there has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use" Any other thoughts?
