can that user send any other kind of attachments? are you trying to forward
an attachment or compose new and add the attachment? (there is a setting in
webmail about forwarding and attachments).

Even I logging in as the client in web browser, cannot send an attachment
out of that mail account.  So, I think its not an Illustrator thing, but
something wrong with the account.  My test message out of his account to my
account on the same web server, wouldn't send the attachment, but it did
send the message I typed.  I cannot delete all the .tmp files in
IMAIL/spool/web because it says some are in use.  I have found some KB
articles on working on the attachment issue from a mail client program like
OE or Netscape, but nothing from the IMAIL browser based mail login.
