Subject: [IMail Forum] Concerns over SP2 pop-up blocking
I've had some bad experiences with pop-up blockers with my clients who use webmail. I'm using IMAIL 8.1 with KWM and most pop-up blockers stop messages from opening once a user is logged in. Since Microsoft will be incorporating a pop-up blocker in SP2 I am concerned that it is going to royally screw up the majority of my users who use webmail.
Can any one at Ipswitch reassure me that they are being pro-active and
checking this out? Or should I just prepare myself for the flood of support
calls and walking all my users through disabling the pop-up blocker?
I just tested it with SP2 beta and it works fine for when I go to open emails and they open in a new window and the contact list opens fine too. Don't see any probs... and I do have the popup blocker on in the medium setting which is the default.
