I would like to apologize again for the read receipt. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Todd Bierbaum Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2004 2:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] Imail AV Premium not allowing blank subject
We are running Imail 8.12 with Premium Anti-Virus (Symantec Scan Engine). What settings (if any) would enable us to allow blank subject lines? I receive e-mails from Postmaster claiming it's a policy volition and the message is being treated as a virus. According to the higher-ups, this is not acceptable. They want to be able to send and receive an e-mail without a subject. Also, anyone that has an update script for AV, please share! Live Update was set to run every 4 hours and then we set it to run once a day (because we thought Norton might be ignoring our IP) and the last update was from the 28th. I finally had to go to Norton's website and use the intelligent updater to get today's def files.
