I was thinking this myself, but haven't read anything in the documentation that would indicate IMail would accept these and handle them differently than anything else.  We're running IMail at our location and haven't seen this behavior, although it is an older version of IMail.

I believe this is caused by Outlook meeting notifications.  I have seen this in the past and that is usually what the message is that is in that folder.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Unknown Mailbox for User

IMail 8.12, new install.  One of the users all of a sudden ended up with a mailbox called IMIP and there are two messages in it that were addressed to the user.  There were no rules setup to process incoming mail for any user, nor are the users themselves knowledgeable enough to have done this themselves.  They are using POP, so it is not an IMAP folder.

In the Info Manager tab, the sub area is defaulting to this IMIP box, where everyone else is defaulting to main.  It will not allow me to change the sub area back to main.
