You should check the iMail log file and look for indications of delivery attempts that 
are unsuccessful.  Since you've got mail getting into the server you know you've got 
connectivity. But if no mail is making it out, it's probably got something to do with 
DNS not providing the needed info to make the deliveries.

There's also a bunch of stuff in the archives of this forum about problems with 
non-3Com nics.
