For some reason the "Delete Msg's By Date" utility in Imail Administrator is
not working. I did a bug report and got a response back indicating this is a
possible problem. Until it is fixed I wanted to run manual cleans via the
command line. I'm trying to delete any messages older than 90 days but I
continue to get an error.
My syntax is as follows: "immsgexp.exe -td:imail\users\-d90 -mmail.mbx"
Your syntax is a incorrect. Try this instead... d:\imail\immsgexp.exe -td:\imail\users -d90 -mmain.mbx
You might also want to use: d:\imail\immsgexp.exe -td:\imail\users -d1 -mdeleted.mbx
Every time I try to run the utility I get an error saying "D:\iMail\immsgexp.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
Not sure about this one - perhaps using the syntax above will net different results.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
