Hi
Can anyone tell me if this is a bug and / or if there is a way
around my problem.
I have a client that has an email address with another ISP and
they have a "/" in their email address.
They want to set up an alias that sends mail from Imail to the
email address with the ISP. As soon as I add the address that has the "/"
all mail sent to the alias just disappears. It doesn't bounce and it never
gets to the destination. If I remove the address with the "/", the alias
starts working again.
I've looked through the logs and have the following message
appear when attempting to send to the alias.
20041022 085858 127.0.0.1
SMTPD (15020e7b006e3f4d) [202.0.58.21] RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> NOTIFY=FAILURE,DELAY
ORCPT=rfc822;pi
Note: I've change the email address above to keep the
client's confidentiality.
I've done some checking with the RFC's and it seems that a "/"
in an email address is a valid character.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks...
Aaron
