I'm heading for Merak myself. $460 for unlimited domains/users, or for $960 the pro version with the high-speed memory mode. I've heard good reviews on the product, that say it can handle whatever you throw at it but its a bit daunting to configure unless you know mail servers. Don't know how true any of that is, but I'll find out.
I feel for Scott. This has to be a crushing blow to Declude (and its new owners), which has yet to come out with a version for any other mail server. I hope they can hang on long enough to diversify. As for a/v and antispam, I moved to the free and open source ASSP quite some time ago, and once you get it trained (which was surprisingly easy even with my general-ISP client base) its totally maintenance-free and highly effective with essentially zero false-positives. Its primarily a Bayesian filter, but it also has SPF, supports user-defined white- and blacklists, includes antivirus (I still use Declude Junkmail but I guess that has to change) and has just introduced a rudimentary RBL feature. Me personally I have never needed more than the Bayes filter and the HELO check that also is in there. -- --Matt Robertson-- President, Janitor MSB Designs, Inc. mysecretbase.com To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
