We started migration away from Imail long time ago tired from Ipswitch's never
resolved bugs and endless problems with every version change (in addition to Windows
headaches).

We're using Plesk control panel from SW-Soft, it uses qmail as MTA and Horde as
webmail and works beautifully. We have installed it on Red Hat 9 and Fedora 1 but they
support also Fedora 2 and FreeBSD. We have also their product for Windows but we're
not so happy with it.

Installation is pretty automated and latest version have also an auto update
mechanism. For Linux newbies you can contract remote installation with SW-Soft or with
other companies like 4PSA.

Licensing is per domain starting at 200USD for 30 domains to 800USD for unlimited,
yearly maintenance is 25% of initial cost and email support 300USD/year per server.
Cheaper prices if you shop around. Many add-ons available at extra cost.

We use antivirus from 4PSA instead SW-Soft expensive and problematic one (sounds
familiar).

There is a lively community which helps to integrate open source add-ons.

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: *nix Control Panel/Mail Server

Since were mulling over our move to *nix due to the new pricing structure,
what is a recommended Web Hosting Control Panel that integrates mail?
