The MIME headers in both segments are either broken or abnormal.  I'm not sure if that is causing the issue, or if there is a problem with Webmail and message attachments.

I would fix the MIME headers before jumping the gun.

OK, I pinned it down some more. It's not a difference in the headers, it's a
difference in the attached message. If it's html, then you don't see the
"cover letter". If it's plain text, you do. However, it's not an attachment
as my "Text attachments: Show as links" selection should provide.

Webmail is inlining all text attachments whatever the setting of the
preference. It seems TEXT_ATT_MASK is being ignored. Not seeing the "Cover
letter" when the next part is html is understandable - text before the
<HTML> tag is not supposed to display. You can see the "cover letter" with
the "Printable Version" selection.

So, anyone know how to make "Show as links" work? There's nothing in the
Knowledgebase I can find on "Show as links" or "Text attachment". Any other
search terms come to mind?

Sample email attached (if that's legal<g>).
