I thought SpamAssassin was the "top gun" of anti-spam. I though Declude was just a nice way to call it. That's why I wrote my own SpamAssassin caller.
No. Only a small percentage of Declude JunkMail users use SpamAssassin with Declude JunkMail. It definitely makes for a good enhancement to Declude JunkMail, but many people find that SpamAssassin alone just doesn't meet their needs for whatever reason (don't get me wrong -- many people find that it does meet their needs; many people swear by SpamAssassin -- just as many swear by Declude).
It's also interesting to note that SpamAssassin uses a number of techniques that were invented by us. We've been in the anti-spam business since 1997, and things have changed quite a bit in that time, but we've been keeping up with everything.
